Park Entrance Fees and Activity fees of Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park is located in the Northwestern corner of Rwanda in Ruhengeri Musanze District. The park headquarters are located in Kinigi a small village in Musanze, this park is blessed with the endemic and endangered mountain gorilla and golden monkeys spreading across the Virunga Massif. This park offers activities like gorilla trekking as the prime activity at the park with others like golden monkey trekking, hiking, Visiting Dian fossey’s research center (Karisoke Research center) and many other activities. All these activities are open to visitors at the park but some visitors are eligible for some discounts.

These activity fees are divided into rates and they are according to the following, foreign non-residents, foreign African residents, East African Citizens, Foreign East African Residents, and African Residents. These fees doffer because of several reason some of which are tax related and another huge reason of promoting domestic tourism among the local people of Rwanda and East Africa.
