Discounted Gorilla Permits

 To promote the spirit of travel and gorilla trekking among Africans and foreign residents living in East Africa, the Rwanda Development Board introduced discounts for East African citizens, Rest of Africa citizens and foreign residents from November to May where foreign residents and the rest of Africa citizens they are charged gorilla permits at US$500 while East African citizens are charged US$200 for gorilla permits.

These discounted prices for foreign residents, East African citizens and Rest of Africa only apply from November to May but from June to October they pay the same prices as that of foreign non-residents.

Also, the Rwanda Development board gives a discount to foreign non-residents who participate in gorilla trekking from November to May and they combine the safari with other national parks in Rwanda like Nyungwe National Park and Akagera National Park the permit costs US$1,050 instead of US$1500

Reservations And Payment.

All passports and permits must be reserved in advance through approved channels, such as accredited travel companies or the Rwanda Development Board. In order to enter the park, you must have a paper or digital copy of your permit, and payment is typically needed to validate your reservation.
